Book of the Month: How to Win Friends and Influence People by Dale Carnegie

Book of the month: How to Win Friends and Influence People by Dale Carnegie. This has been by far the best book I have read, hands up, down, side to side.
How to Win Friends is all about people and situational management. I thought was straight forward but it is incredible how easy it is to forget that we are all emotional people and all the main characters of our own story with different purposes and drive. This book gives you a play by play on exactly what to do in situations and how to put this information directly into practice. Carnegie gives a principle at the end of every chapter and it’s all about sincerity.

Favorite quote of the book: “Every man I meet is my superior in some way. In that, I learn of him.”

I would recommend this book to everyone! Specifically, if you find trouble making connections with new people which can be difficult for those entering the transition to the work place after school. Or if you are starting a new business venture and are looking to rally a following and form partnerships. Incredibly insightful, purposeful and direct. I immediately bought my own version and started rereading it.
