“What’s ironic is that those who don’t have the courage to take risks and those who do, experience the same amount of fear in life.”
This very organized and easy to read book is perfect for constantly picking up and putting down on a regular basis. Each section has the quality, the breakdown, reflection, and the takeaway. Something for you to actively work daily. This will have a high impact if you actually do the exercises in the back and can reflect on where you stand currently in your leadership journey. The number one takeaway is empathy. To be a great leader you must be human, you must be confident and you must understand your people. When leaders begin to separate themselves from the people they are leading, they lose touch and consequently their effectiveness as a leader.
This book is great for anyone in a leadership position or entering new role in leadership. It’s not easy but with constant practice and reflection it is a fantastic skill you can learn!
